Welcome to the Science and Reason Network

And thank you for joining.

I presume you're wondering about a few things:

Q: What should I do first?
A: Just look around. Check out a few groups. Have a look at other users' profiles. I think the various sections of this site are fairly self-explanatory. But if not, use the forum or comment board to ask questions.
Q: OK, it looks intriguing. What can I do to get involved?
A: First, work on your profile - click on Settings in the upper right box. Then start adding to your own personal page - at the My Page tab. The goal here is social networking and sharing. You can stay "anonymous" if you like, and just read what others have to say and share. That's OK. But if you have something of your own to share - or promote - the best way to do it is by summarizing a few things in your profile, such as your main interests, your background, and other places people can link to in order to get to know more about you.
Q: Check. Done that. What next?
A: Just take your time to look around and see what's here. If you decide this looks promising, recommend it to your friends. Invite other people to join. You can use either the Invite tab at the top to send email, or else send a messages to your friends on other sites using the message tools of the other sites. Let people know that we want to establish connections with people at other networking sites. All that's needed to get started is to visit: http://scienceandreason.ning.com/.
